Anna Marie Toney, daughter of Lawrence C. and Nora L. Toney, was born near

Davis City, Iowa, June 14, 1911, and passed away at the Decatur County

hospital June 25, 1941, at the age of 30 years and 11 days, following an

operation for appendicitis.

On June 14, 1936 she was united in marriage to Emil J. Kyle of Grand River,

who preceded her in death October 7, 1936.

For the past four years she has been employed at Armour & Co., at Leon.

She leaves her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Lawrence Toney of Grand River, six

sisters, Mrs. Florence Baker of Davis City, Mrs. Dorothy Rauch of Grand

River, Mrs. Gladys Covey of St. Maries, Idaho, Mrs. Louise Owens of Decatur,

Mrs. Berniece Bryant of Davis City and Mrs. Georgia Glazebrook of Leon, and

one brother, Thayer Lee Toney of Grand River. One sister and one brother

passed away in infancy.

Funeral services were held from the Stewart Funeral home in Leon Sunday,

June 29, conducted by Rev. Miles Tabor. Burial was at Davis City.
