MARY LLEWELYN TEALE
Mary Llewelyn Teale was born near Davis City in Decatur County, Iowa
November 24, 1896 to Birde A. Teale and A. L. Teale and died November 21,
1970 at the age of 73 years, 11 months and 27 days.
She was married to Pearl E. Wiley November 11, 1917. She was baptized into
Christ March 19, 1916. She taught in rural schools before her marriage and
during World War II. She was a member of the New Century League of Davis
City.
She was preceded in death by her husband, father, first child Hilda Hope who
was stillborn, a sister Louisa Hascall, two brothers James and Arthur Teale.
Surviving are her mother, Westview Acres, Leon, Iowa; two sisters, Maude
Downey, Davis City, and Edmondine Moss, Des Moines; six children, Willa
Marie, Long Beach, Calif.; James Maurice, Leon; Peggy Lou, Akron, Ohio; Jack
Elroy, Lorimor, Iowa; Arthur Wilbert. Leon; and Pearl Eugene, Adel; 14
grandchildren; two great grandchildren; other relatives and friends.
