G. William TEALE passed away Oct. 21 at the Ringgold County Hospital at Mt.

Ayr at the age of 83 years.

He was born Sept 17, 1881 on a farm in Ringgold county, Iowa, the son of

George H. and Mary HOLLEN TEALE.

He spent much of his life on the home farm. At an early age be Joined the

Methodist church.

On Feb. 10, 1907 he, was United in marriage to Minnie Ann BECK. In 1919,

they moved to a homestead near Carpenter, S.D. where their only , child,

Cecil Charles, was born. A few months later they returned to the farm in

Riley Township.

Since 1947, he has spent part of each Year in 'Colorado and Arizona for

health reasons, always returning to his home near Lamoni.

Left, to mourn his passing are his widow, Minnie Ann, his son, Cecil, and

the three grandsons Benny of Aloha, Ore., Jerry of Loma Linda, Calif. and

Carl of Lamoni, and three great-grandchildren, Also surviving are, a Sister,

Maggie BECK, of Delphos, Iowa, and a brother, Albert J., of Topanga, Calif.,

and three nephews.

Funeral services were held on Friday, Oct. 23 1964, at 2 pm, at the Stewart

Funeral Home in Lamoni. Burial was at Rose Hill cemetery.
