A funeral service is at 1 P.M. Monday in the chapel of Dudley-Hoffman Mortuary for Roberta M. Tabin, 86, of Santa Maria. Dr. Jack Lockhart of Grace Baptist Church will officiate. Interment will follow at Santa Maria Cemetery.

She died of natural causes March 16, 1995, at a local convalescent center.

Mrs. Tabin was born April 23, 1908, in Mercer CO, MO.

She taught grammar school as a young woman in Iowa. Mrs. Tabin was a resident of Santa Maria since 1943. She was a member of Grace Baptist Church.

Survivors include her son Robert D. Tabin, of Culver City; Daughters Betty Jean Corsby of Santa Maria, and Pamela DuChesne of San Clemente; Sister Linda Manchester of Rogers, Ark; brothers Grant Moore of Norman, Okla., and Clair Moore of Garden Grove, IA; several nieces and nephews; three granddaughters; three great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandson.

Mrs. Tabin was preceded in death by her husband Sim Tabin in 1976, her twin brother Robert Moore and her sisters Eva Hembry, and Maxine Carter.

Visitation is from 2-7 p.m. Sunday at the mortuary. Services Monday, March 20, 1995. Interment Santa Maria Cemetery, Santa Maria, California.
