H.C. THOMPSON died at his home in Weldon, Wednesday night after a

lingering illness with Brights disease. He was confined to his bed but

a short time. He even took a short drive the day before his death.

MRS. THOMPSON accompanied the body to Virginia, Ill., where it will be

laid to rest beside the son who committed suicide only a few months ago.

The deceased leaves a widow and seven children who have the sympathy of

their neighbors and friends.
