HENRY J. THOMAS had many true friends and he was ever ready to do as
much for his friends and neighbors as any one. For all felt that truly
they had parted with a very dear friend. He was always found faithful
in all of his cares on earth.

MRS. MARY A. MALONE from Argonia, Kans., summoned of her only brother,
she arrived too late, he had passed from earth to death. MRS. LEE SMITH
was present at the funeral of her brother, MR. WILLIAM LONG, of
Centerville, his father-in-law; also MR. WILL TROWER and wife were
present. Many other friends and relatives were present at this funeral.

He was a kind, loving, devoted husband and loving father and trusted
friends who had passed up and out from our midst and into the
blessedness of the life beyond. Loving hands laid his body tenderly in
the final resting place in the Metier Cemetery. "Blessed are the dead
who die in the Lord from henceforth, yea saith the spirit, that they may
rest from their labors and their works do follow them."
