MISS DOLLIE STANLEY was the oldest daughter of DANIEL and SARILDA

STANLEY. She was born in Decatur City, January l, l875, and died

January l2, l898, being 23 years and l6 days old at her death. She

resided near Decatur City until l6 years of age, then removed with her

parents to near Pleasanton, Decatur County, Iowa, where she resided

until her death. She had been a great sufferer for two years with

kidney trouble, which terminated in general dropsy. She bore her

sufferings with great fortitude and patience to the last.

She was of a kind and friendly disposition and had many friends. She

seemed perfectly resigned to her fate when she knew they could do no

more for her. She leaves an aged father and mother, two brothers and

two sisters to mourn her early death.
