ROSANN LEASURE was born in Delaware County, Ohio, February, 25, l833.

Was joined in marriage with MILES STANDISH, March 4, l86l. To them was

born one son who died at the age of two years. They moved to Decatur

County in the fall of l870 from Van Wert, Ohio. They settled on their

little farm in Long Creek Township where they remained until the death

of her husband, which occurred Oct. 28, l898. The deceased, having no

immediate relatives, has since the death of her husband, made her home

with her niece, MRS. MARY DURNAL, until December last, she moved to

Weldon, where she died August 9th.

Three years ago she was converted and united with the Church of Christ

at Weldon. The funeral service was held in the Christian Church

Wednesday at l0 o'clock, conducted by Rev. Van Horn, of Osceola.
