NETTIE IOLA SPITZNOGLE, infant daughter of MILLARD and DORA SPITZNOGLE,
died Monday, February 5th, at 6:20 a.m., of inflamation of the bowels at
Madison, Kansas. Little NETTIE was l year, l month and 20 days old,
having been born December l5, l904, at Tuskeego, Iowa, at which place
she lived with her parents until they moved a few weeks ago to Madison,
Kansas. She was the youngest of five children. She leaves a father,
mother, two brothers and two sisters besides other relatives to mourn
her loss.
Funeral services were held at the home of the parents on Tuesday
afternoon at 3 o'clock by Rev. Shaw, the Christian Minister, after which
the body was interred at the Blakely Cemetery, two and one-half miles
northwest of Madison.
Little NETTIE had a sweet and gentle disposition. She suffered terribly
during the first part of her sickness, but her last hours were without
pain or suffering. She went to sleep at l2:30 and slept until 6:20 when
she passed peacefully away to be with Jesus. We mourn not as those
without hope, for our Savior has said, "Suffer little children to come
unto me for such is the Kingdom of Heaven."
