MRS. JULIA SHAY, widow of the late LUKE SHAY, died at her home in Maloy,

Iowa, on Sunday, February 26, l899, aged 72 years and 27 days. She is

survived by six children--MRS. M.N. HURT; JERRY; THOMAS S.; WILLIAM;

MICHAEL C.; of Maloy and JOHN V., of Bloomington.

The funeral was conducted by Father Loftus and interment made at St.

Mary's Cemetery east of Maloy.
