GEORGE A. ROBBINS died at his home in Davis City, Iowa, January 11, l903. The funeral services were held at the Union Church on Monday following; Rev. Lemon of Tuskeego officiated, after which the remains were taken to our cemetery and there placed by the side of his loved mother who had passed from this life December 28, l890.

He was first taken sick with a cough last spring thought to be brought on by exposure while working out in damp weather earlier in the season. He was taken to his bed June l6, and was confined to his room and bed most of the time from then until death released him from his suffering all of which he bore without a murmur. He was a son of JOHN and RACHEL ROBBINS. He was born March l9, l872, in Decatur County, Iowa, and has ever made his home in and near Davis City. He leaves a father, four brothers and four sisters, and a large circle of relatives to mourn his loss. He had never married, was a quiet, hard working young man, honest and upright in all his dealing with his fellow man and was liked by everyone. He knew he could not get well and told his friends all was well and bid them all good-bye. May his soul rest in peace.
