JAMES W. RHAMY, a former citizen of this county, son of W.H. RHAMY, died at Mt. Pleasant last Friday of consumption, aged 26 years, 8 months and l day.

The deceased was quite well known in the vicinity of Leon and Davis City, where he once resided, and was a brother of MRS. ALFRED MAXWELL, of near Pleasanton.

His remains were taken to Ottumwa where the funeral was held on Saturday, from the home of his father, in South Ottumwa, services being conducted by the Pastor of the Ottumwa Baptist Church, he having been converted about two years ago, and had since lived a consistent Christian life, and his remains laid to rest in the Ottumwa Cemetery. He leaves a father, mother, two brothers and two sisters to mourn his departure.
