The news was received here early Monday morning, April 27th, announcing the death of MRS. JOSEPH RAY, of Harrison County, Missouri. MRS. RAY was the daughter of MR. and MRS. VANDERPOOL, of Eden Township. She was a charming young woman and loved by all who knew her. She leaves many friends to mourn the loss of a dear one. In September she was married to MR. RAY, and moved to Harrison County only a short time ago.

The funeral services were conducted by Rev. Christy, April 28th, and the remains were laid to rest in the New Salem Cemetery.
