GEO. PITMAN, who lived a few miles northeast of town, was buried last
Sunday.  The obsequies were held in the Baptist Church near the
deceased's home; ELDER Z.H. GURLEY officiating.  A large congregation
was present on the occasion and gave apt attention to one of MR.
GURLEY's best efforts.  The Elder excels in this line of thought.
