Ed Patton

Services for Ed Patton, 14, of 1009 Forty-fourth Place, who died Thursday of head injuries suffered in a neighbor's garage, will be at 2 p.m. Sunday at the Slade Funeral Home in Leon. Burial will be at the Leon Cemetery.

Memorial services will be at 3 p.m. Tuesday at the Westover Baptist Church in Des Moines.

The Patton youth was a native of Princeton, Mo. He lived in Des Moines most of his life and was a ninth-grade student at Franklin Junior High School.

Survivors include his parents, Fay and Judi Patton of Des Moines; his grandparents, Velma Patton of Leon, Mr. and Mrs. Dewayne Showers of Leon, and Mr. and Mrs. Carl Adcock of Bethany, Mo.; and great-grandparents, Mamie Bain of Eagleville, Mo., and Mr. and Mrs. Jack Shepard of Promise City.
