born September 11, 1916 in Manteca, Calif. She departed this life at her
home in Lamoni, on February 9, 1961, at the age of 44 years, four months and
29 days.
Leora spent most of her early life in Calif. where she finished high school
and junior college except for a short time spent in Des Moines with

Janice 14, and Deeann, 11.
In 1947 she and her family returned to Iowa and purchased a farm near Davis
City. There they resided until her health failed, almost two years ago when
they moved to Lamoni.
Besides her husband and two daughters, who mourn her departure, she leaves
her sister, Mrs. Lorita Gubbins of Richmond, Calif. And a brother, Allen
Pahre, of Sacramento, Calif., also, many friends and relatives who will
remember her cheerfulness and her steady quiet disposition.

Latter Day Saints, in Lamoni, on February 12, at 2:00pm, with Elder Jerry
Runkle and Elder Clarence Bohall officiating.
