CHAS. E. POTTER was born in Oswega county, New York, Nov. 25, 1833. He was married to Rebecca BOOTH in 1853, emigrated to Decatur county, Iowa, immediately after; died April 15, 1907, at the home of his son Milo, three miles east of Pleasanton, Iowa. Services were held at the home of Elder M. M. Turpen. He is survived by his widow, and five childred, three having preceded him in death. Interment in Rosehill cemetery, the services at the grave being conducted by Elder Duncan Campbell.
