December 24, l896

HAROLD OSCAR PIERCY, son of MR. and MRS. M.W. PIERCY, was born April l2,

l895, died of lung fever at the home of his parents in Tuskeego,

December l6, l896, aged 20 months and four days.

OSCAR, as a dear and only child, was the source of perpetual love and

sunshine in the home and a happy sunbeam when associated with his little

playmates, but the band of this earthly companionship has been

ruthlessly broken by the hand of death, and today our darling is with

the angelic host around the throne of God.

The remains were laid at rest in the Palestine Cemetery, there to await

the resurrection morn. May the Lord sustain the bereaved parents and

friends.
