ELIZABETH BERESFORD was born in England in l844 and on attaining

womanhood, was married to THOMAS JOHNSON. They came to the United States

in l884 and resided in Leon except six years residence in Chicago. MR.

JOHNSON died in l898. MRS. JOHNSON then married JAMES PARKER in l902

and lived happily with him until her death on Monday, October 30, l905.

A short funeral service was held at the home of AUNT MARY HINDS on the

following day after which her remains were laid to rest in the Leon

Cemetery.
