Died.
After a long illness, Mr. Michael T. O'CONNELL died at the Saints Home early Saturday morning, November 13, at the age of eighty years.
He was born in Ireland in 1830. His parents came to America in 1837, and from 1842 till 1845 they lived at Nauvoo, Illinois. In 1845 they removed to southwestern Wisconsin. He came to manhood there and married. His wife died about 1870 and he went to Idaho and lived there until 1892, when he came to Lamoni. Here he married Mrs. Sarah Page, and she died in 1901. In 1906 he was received into the "Home" and has been feeble and under care ever since.
He united with the Latter Day Saints in 1840 and joined the Reorganized Church after he came to Lamoni. Services at the "home" on Sunday afternoon. By his request Elder H. A. Stebbins preached the sermon. Elder James Anderson assisted and Elder William Anderson offered prayer at the grave.
