One of the oldest settlers and a highly respected citizen of this township died at the home of his daughter, MRS. C.A. DAVIS, Sunday. MR. NORTHRUP received a broken hip a short time ago from a fall on the ice, and although he has been quite feeble for some time, but however being able to be around, the shock from the fall no doubt hastened his death. The funeral was conducted from the house Monday afternoon by Masonic Order, interment being made in the Garden Grove Cemetery.
