MRS. ROBERT MCBROOM of this place died Wednesday morning at l0 o'clock,

June 20th, of dropsy and Bright's disease. MRS. MCBROOM was a faithful

wife and an indulgent mother. The welfare of her husband and children

was the main purpose of her life. She was industrious, honest in all

her dealings; knowingly, she never wronged anyone.

She was a consistent member of the M.E. Church and was a firm believer

in the love of Christ and advocated the principle of the Golden Rule and

her conduct was ever consistent with this belief. As a friend, no woman

could be truer; as a neighbor, she always made a kindly impress on the

minds of those who made her acquaintance, and her genial presence will

be missed by the community in which she lived to a degree seldom

experienced.
