March l4, l907

JOHN MANNING was born August l3, l85l, in Wayne County, Indiana, and

died February 27, l907, in Kellerton, Iowa, aged 55 years, 6 months and

l4 days. He came to Decatur County, Iowa with his parents in l854 where

he grew to manhood and married to ARVILLA J. FULTON, January l0, l875.

To this union were born four sons: CHARLEY, FRANK, ALBERT and JOHN.

JOHN died February l5, l903, and the mother, October 23, l890.

MR. MANNING was married to FLORA CAMP, December l9, l893. One son,

HARRY, was born to this union.

MR. MANNING located on a farm in Ringgold County in l89l and by industry

he prospered and was considered one of the best stock men in Ringgold or

Decatur County. He moved to Kellerton in l902 where he made his home.

His last illness was only of eleven days' duration. He expressed a

willingness to meet his God.

Funeral services were conducted by Rev. L.M. Kob, of Garden Grove,

assisted by Rev. S.E. Brown. Interment was made in the Kellerton

Cemetery.
