Here's another Decatur Countian obit clipping with no newspaper attribution or publication date, but the text shows it appeared in 1957. Except for my capitalization of surnames, all is per the original.

OBITUARY

Dicia Jane WOOD, daughter of John and Mary WOOD, was born near Woodland, Iowa, October 4, 1877 and died December 7, 1957, at the Decatur County Hospital at the age of 80 years, two months and three days.

She lived her girlhood days in the vicinity of Woodland, Iowa. At the age of 15 she made her home with her Uncle Tom and Aunt Oma ADAIR at Woodland.

She was united in marriage to Nathan A. MYERS on April 20, 1899. To this union five children were born: Iva HILL, who preceded her in death October 21, 1949; and a daughter who died as an infant; Harry MYERS of Kent, Iowa; Leone SMITH of Garden Grove, Iowa; and Henry MYERS of Chariton, Iowa.

She and her hsuband spent most of their married life farming in Wayne and Decatur counties, except for a few years they lived in Kansas. They left the farm and moved to Garden Grove where they spent their remaining days together.

When her health began to fail about two years ago she was tenderly cared for by her husband, Nate, until two months before she passed away. She She was cared for in anursing home and at the Decatur County Hospital at Leon. She was a great lover of flowers and spent many hours working in the garden. She was a kind and loving wife and mother, always willing to lend a helping hand whenever needed. She enjoyed her grandchildren very much whishing the best for all of them. In later years she greatly enjoyed her great-grandchildren, wanting them near as much as possible.

She leaves to mourn her passing her devoted husband, two sons and one daughter; 15 grandchildren and 20 great-grandchildren; one sister, Naomi PEVISOL (should be PEIRSOL), of Farnam, Nebr.; three half-sisters, Ina ADAIR of Albert Lea, Minn., Edna HICKS of St. Paul, Minn., and Enza ADAIR of Des Moines, Iowa; and one half-brother, Leo WOOD, of Whittemore, Iowa.

She was preceded in death by her parents, two daughters; one sister, Ida; one brother, Henry; and one half-brother, Earl. She leaves many nephews and nieces and a host of friends and neighbors. She will be missed by all who knew her.

At the age of 16 she was converted and baptized and ------- (ink smeared) the Methodist church at Woodland, Iowa. Although she did not attend church in her later years she remained a faithful member until God called her home where she shall dwell in the ouse of the Lord forever.

Funeral services were held at the Methodist church in Garden Grove, Iowa, December 10, 1957, at 2:00 p.m., conducted by the Rev. Max Hall, pastor of the Methodist church of Garden Grove, and in charge of the Slade Funeral Home.

Interment was made in the Garden Grove cemetery.

Note: Dicia/Dicey was a sister to the subjects of the previous two obits I shared on the List today: Mrs. George PEIRSOL (nee Naomi WOOD) and Henry Milton WOOD.
