MARY A. KING was born in Prince Williams County, Va., Nov. l9, l832, and died at her home at High Point, Ia., Aug. 3l, l900. She came to this state in l853 and was married Dec. l9, l858, to ISAAC MILLER, who preceded her to the better world, Nov. 20, l889. To this union was born one child who died in infancy at the age of l6 months. While still in Virginia she united with the Baptist Church, but upon coming to Iowa there being no church of her choice at this place, she united with the M.E. Church and lived an earnest Christian life, active in church work so long as her health permitted.

The funeral services were held from the church at High Point on Sunday morning at l0 o'clock, conducted by Rev. Woodward, Pastor of the Garden Grove M.E. Church. The interment was in the High Point Cemetery.
