Grandpa MERRILL passed to his Heavenly home Friday morning, Feb. 7th, after several years of patient suffering. He was 83 years, 5 months and 24 days old.

Grandpa made his home at Tuskeego with his daughter, MRS. J.M. SMITH.

Short services were held at the house Friday evening by Rev. Smith, after which the remains were taken to Council Bluffs and laid to rest by his wife. Many friends sympathize with MRS. SMITH and family in their sad bereavement.
