From the Chastain Scrapbook

Mr. Joseph McCready died last night of lung fever at his residence in Center township, age 77 years, 9 months and 10 days. The funeral services will be held tomorrow by Rev. Harrison Wilson, of Woodland township, and the remains taken to Franklin church cemetery for burial.
