DIED

MCLAIN - In New Buda township, Decatur county, Iowa, Nov. 16, 1893, of rupture, Mr. William MCLAIN, aged 56 years, 9 months and 4 days. His death was very unexpected, after two days of suffering, the physicians being unable to aid him. He leaves a wife and seven young children to mourn his sudden departure. He was born in Bradford county, Pennsylvania, in 1837, and had resided in Decatur county for thirty-eight years past, since 1855. The funeral sermon was preached by Elder H. A. STEBBINS, at his late residence.
