From the Chastain Scrapbook:

Mrs. Abigale, wife of A. L. Martin, died at Kellerton on Sunday, and was buried in the Leon Cemetery after dark last night, the funeral party having been detained by the lateness of the train. She was a sister of Sam Coover, about 39 years old, and had been suffering from a cancer in her side for over a year. The funeral sermon will be preached at the M. E. Church next Sunday morning, by Rev. A. Brown.
