FRED MCCLEARY, son of ISAAC and MARY E. MCCLEARY, was born in High Point Township, Decatur County, Iowa, January 3l, l87l, and died March l5, l900, aged 29 years, l month and l5 days. He was united in marriage to MISS CORA E. FLEMING, of Woodland Township March l, l893. To this union was born one child, a little son who died at the age of 3 months.

MR. MCCLEARY, previous to his marriage had a severe attack of typhoid pneumonia settling on his lungs, from which he never fully recovered, which finally terminated in consumption. Last September he went to Colorado thinking it would benefit him, but climate, care and physicians failed to relieve him. He returned to his mother's home March 3. Just before he passed away he shook hands with his friends bidding them good-bye and said "I am going to my dear little boy."
