Obituary ~ Beverly Ann (Clark) Jackson
February 06, 1934 ~ December 20, 2015

Beverly Ann Jackson, daughter of Lester Clark and Edna (Oliver) Clark was born February 6, 1934 in Garden Grove, Iowa and passed from this life Sunday, December 20, 2015 at Southern Hills Specialty Care at 81 years of age.

Beverly received her education in LeRoy Schools. She was united in marriage to George Cunningham Jackson on August 17, 1953 at the Christian Church in Osceola, IA and one son blessed this union. Beverly lived in LeRoy until her marriage and then they moved to San Francisco, CA for 2 years until George was honorably discharged from the U.S. Marine Corps. They returned to the Weldon area and have farmed for many years.

They have lived on their present farm for the past 29 years. Beverly worked for Snowdons Inc. as a seamstress for 25 years. They also owned and managed the Leon Bowling Alley from 1970 to 1975.

She enjoyed bowling, cooking and traveling. She enjoyed life and loved having her family around. She has been a member of the American Legion Auxiliary since 1989.

Those relatives who preceded Beverly in death were her parents, Lester and Edna; spouse, George Cunningham Jackson in 2009; father-in-law, Joshua Edward Jackson; mother-in-law, Nellie Marie Kennedy; brother, Leonard Clark, sister, Dorothy Clark and granddaughter, Jessica Ann Jackson.

Beverly leaves to cherish her memory; son, Jon Jay (Mona) Jackson of Osceola, IA; Grandchildren, Jon C. (Amanda) Jackson of Weldon, IA, and Jennifer M Jackson (Glen Feezell) of Urbandale, IA; sisters, Virginia Watson of Humeston, IA and Shirley Drake of LeRoy; brother, Don Clark(Deb Smith) of Truro, IA as well as other relatives and many friends.
