Obituary ~ Juanita Jean (Kirby) Ingram
February 17, 1934 ~ October 20, 2015

Juanita Jean Ingram, age 81, of Van Wert, Iowa, the oldest of two children born to Harry Lloyd and Vera Beatrice (Miner) Kirby, was born February 17, 1934, in Cambria, Iowa. She peacefully passed from this life surrounded by family on October 20, 2015, at the Southern Hills Specialty Care Center in Osceola, Iowa.

Juanita attended school in Cambria before graduating from Martensdale-St. Marys High School. She was united in marriage to Joseph LeeRoy Ingram on April 17, 1952, in West Des Moines, Iowa. They were blessed with three children, Kevin, Mike, and Brenda.

Juanita had a strong Christian faith. She always knew what the right thing to do was and always referred back to her Bible and prayer. She was a member of the Van Wert Assembly of God Church in Van Wert and later attended the Osceola Full Gospel Church in Osceola. She loved reading, and writing poems, but most of all, she loved spending time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Preceding her in death were her parents; husband, Joseph Ingram in November of 2009; sister, Judy Lange; and grandson, Jordan Ingram.

Survivors include her children, Kevin and Michelle Ingram of Tennessee Colony, Texas, Mike Ingram, and Brenda and Ed Fickes, all of Van Wert, Iowa; grandchildren, Michelle & Robert Campbell, Carol Ann Tandy & Jorey Swindle, Chrissy Ingram & Archie Waters, Jimmy Ingram, Johnny Ingram, Josh Ingram, Joey Ingram, Charity Ingram, and Jacob Ingram, all of Texas, Naomi Jones & Chris Meador of Osceola, Iowa, Rochelle McLaughlin & Jeremiah Jackson of New Virginia, Iowa, Clinton Casterline & Breea Jackson of Van Wert, Josh Fickes & Kris Vandenburg of Chariton, Iowa, and Dustin Fickes of Van Wert; 17 great grandchildren; and other relatives and friends.

Funeral services will be held at the Slade - O'Donnell Funeral Home in Leon, Iowa at 10 a.m. Monday, October 26, 2015, with Kevin Ingram officiating. Burial will be in the Garden Grove Cemetery, Garden Grove, Iowa.

A memorial fund has been established by the Family.
