Died at the residence of her mother, MRS. SILAS JOHNSON, June l, l897,

MISS MARY A. JOHNSON, aged 42 years. Of a quiet, unassuming, diffident

nature, not many were aware of the presence in their midst of a

beautiful and pure soul, who gave away self that others might be helped,

and who lived to see brothers and sisters fixed in life and then

surrendered her own to the Master whom she had served and whom she

acknowledged. Such flowers are rare, and beautiful to those who can

see.
