ALBERT AMOS HAYES was born April 2, l904, and died at the home of his
parents, MR. and MRS. SPEED HAYES, in Hamilton Township, July 26, l906,
aged 2 years, 3 months and 24 days. Little ALBERT was stricken with
brain fever and through a long and tedious illness and awful suffering,
he was patient, never complaining.
He was an unusual bright and beautiful little child, intelligent beyond
his years, the pet and general favorite with all who knew him. A bright
little flower sent to brighten the home of his parents for a short time
has been transplanted to a fairer clime.
All that kind and loving hands could do was done to alleviate his great
suffering. But he was too frail a little blossom to stand the storms of
this life and God called him home. The little white casket was lowered
to its last resting place in the Gatliff Cemetery, Friday, July 27th,
where funeral services were conducted by Rev. James Judd.
We weep not as one without hope, for Christ has said, "Suffer the little
children to come unto me for of such is the Kingdom of Heaven." He
leaves a father, mother, two brothers and two sisters to mourn his
loss. The family has the sympathy of all the community in their sad
bereavement.
