Our Weldon correspondent says: "B.F. HALL, a highly esteemed and much

respected citizen of Franklin Township, died Monday morning after three

weeks' sickness and severe suffering.

The funeral service, we understand, will be held at his late residence

but as to who will preach the sermon has not been determined upon. MR.

HALL was an old settler on the large farm on which he died, had an

extensive acquaintance and no doubt will be followed to his last resting

place by a large concourse of neighbors and friends. His wife and

children have the sympathy of all in their sorrow."
