EDNA HARMON was born at Marengo, Ill., October l6th, l87l. At the age of 4 years, her parents, MR. and MRS. R.J. HARMON moved to Davis City. EDNA lived in Davis City continually until her marriage to B.R. HOWARD. She was married at Leon, Nov. 23rd, l892. After two years residence in Iowa, MR. and MRS. HOWARD removed to Kansas City, Mo. where they have since resided. MRS. HOWARD was visiting with her brother, DR. HARRY HARMON at Creston, Ia., when she was stricken with the illness that caused her death on Wednesday, March 8th, l899. The remains were sent from Creston to this city arriving here last Thursday.

The funeral services were held Sunday at the L.D.S. Chapel, Elder Henry Stebbins of Lamoni conducting the service. The last remains were laid to rest in the cemetery by a large gathering of relatives and friends.

The following relatives attended the funeral: The husband, B.R. HOWARD and little daughter. DR. and MRS. WM. HARMON of Cedar Rapids, DR. HARRY HARMON and sister ALICE of Creston, Iowa and ARTHUR and JAMES HARMON, and MR. and MRS. R.J. HARMON of this city.

The relatives of the deceased have the sincere sympathy of their large circle of friends.
