INA MAY STANLEY was born in Humbolt County, Iowa, April 22, l872, and died at her home in Garden Grove, April 28, l904, aged 32 years and 6 days. December 2, l894, she was united in marriage with WM. J. HOCKING; to them were born four children, HAZEL E., ALBERT DEWEY, RENER MERTON and ROY STANLEY, who is only eleven months old. MRS. HOCKING's home from the time of her birth until November, l902, was Humbolt County. Since that date she has lived here.

She was converted and united with the Methodist Episcopal Church when about l5 years of age and retained her membership in the same church until her death. She was a quiet unassuming Christian woman and her death in the prime of womanhood has brought deep sorrow to many hearts. The sympathy of the church and of the entire community extends to the husband and children, to her parents, MR. and MRS. WM. STANLEY, the six brothers and the many other relatives and friends who are left to mourn her loss.

The funeral services were conducted from the M.E. Church, Sunday morning, May l, by the Pastor, Rev. E. C. Newland.
