Frank, son of Joseph G. and Lizzie HARRIS, was born at Garden Grove, Ia., May 7th, 1883, and ended this life Feb. 17th, 1894, aged 10 years, 9 months, and 10 days. The mother dying when he was but little more than a year old, committed him, with his sister Mary, to the care of her mother, Mrs. Thomas HANES. There he made his home until his death. In the winter of 1884 he was baptized in the Presbyterian church of Garden Grove by the pastor, Robert BEER, who was also much with him during his last illness, and on Sunday p.m. last committed his body to the ground. With great patience he endured the bitter pains appointed him in his fatal sickness, which continued for more than six weeks, and looked death and the grave in the face without fear, expecting with confidence a mansion prepared for him in the Father's house.
