MYRON A. HANSELL was born in Indiana, Nov. 23, l840, and died in Leon, Iowa, at the residence of his son, F.N. HANSELL, Dec. 3, l903, being 63 years and l0 days old. While still a young man MR. HANSELL moved to St. Charles, Mo., from which place he enlisted during the war in the 33d Missouri Volunteers. After having served his country for three years he returned to his aforetime peaceful occupation and located in Jersey County, Ill., at which place he was united in marriage to LYDIA M. NOBLE. To this union there were born three children, F.N. HANSELL, of Leon, Iowa; MRS. C.A. HORN, of Chickasha, I.T., and MRS. MCD. CAMPBELL, of Salina, Ala. Most of the last ten years of his life he spent in Texas and Indian Territory.

On Nov. l6th, in the afternoon, he was stricken with paralysis and so severe was the stroke that he hardly at any time until his death, regained consciousness. Brief services were conducted over the remains on Friday, Dec. 4th, by Rev. I.N. Woodward, after which what was mortal of the departed was taken to his old home at Elsah, Ill., for interment.
