MRS. W.B. HAMILTON's maiden name was EUNICE EVA ALICE MCKEE. She was born in Ohio, April l6, l858, and removed to Fairfield, Iowa, with her parents when quite small, thence to Decatur County, Iowa, soon after, and became a Christian in early life, being baptized by Brother Harlan, by whom she was married to W.B. HAMILTON on October 2l, l875. To this union were born eight children, five of whom preceded the mother to the Great Beyond. She died April 11, l903, from the effects of la grippe.
After a short funeral service at the home in Des Moines, conducted by Dr. I.N. McCash, Pastor of the University Place Church of Christ, the remains were conveyed to the Palestine Church in Decatur County, where the funeral service was conducted by Elder H.H. Hubbell and interment made in the cemetery back of the church, beside the bodies of the five children who had preceded her. She leaves a husband and three children, DORA, MARY, ROY and ORVILLE E., and many relatives and friends to mourn, yet they mourn not as those who have no hope.
