The youngest daughter of M.T. and MINNIE A. GRIMES was born in Leon,
Iowa March 2l, l896, and died at the home of her parents in Leon, Iowa,
June l8, l90l, aged 5 years 2 months and 27 days. She suffered great
pain during the three weeks of sickness, but showed such a patient
spirit through it all, and seemed to desire so much to get well.

The sweet and gentle disposition which had so endeared her life to all
who knew her, seemed to transform her into a being too good for earth as
she passed into the deepening shadows of death. FLORENCE was a member
of the Junior League, a rare flower in the home and she filled every
heart with a fragrance of love and joy. Our hearts are sad, but

"We trust in Him who giveth,
Altho' he gives and takes away;
Tho' here she sleeps, up there she liveth,
In a land of endless day."
