Subject: OBITUARY - ANDREW C. GOIN.

ANDREW C. GOIN was born in Mercer County, MO., September l5, l857, and

was married to MISS AMANDA P. HAMMER July l6, l88l. He was converted

and united with the M.E. Church at Battle Creek, Iowa, some time during

the year l89l. He died at Van Wert, July 24, in hope of a blessed

resurrection.

MR. GOIN received an injury nearly two years ago which finally resulted

in his death. He was a great sufferer, but bore his sufferings without

a murmur. The writer was with him during his last illness. He always

expressed himself ready and willing to die if it was the will of God.

He died in great peace. The funeral services were held in the M.E.

Church on Sunday, and on Monday, escorted by a number of the friends,

the remains were taken to Eagleville and buried beside the father. He

leaves a wife and four children to mourn.
