MARY GASTON was born in Columbiana County, Ohio, January 20, l825, and
passed from this life February 2, l90l, at the home of her sister, MRS.
N. G. BROCKWAY, in Decatur City, Iowa.

Her husband, JAMES W. GASTON, died about sixteen years ago. She was the
fourth child and second daughter in a family of ten children. Father,
mother and two brothers preceded her to the spirit land. Her life was
one of self denial and of constant labor and care for others. She
seemed a second mother in the family.

Her labors are ended. A kind, faithful and loving daughter, sister,
wife and friend has gone to her reward.
