LIZZIE A. GARDNER was born in Alleghany County, Pa., May 7, l840, and

died at her home northeast of Leon, June l9, l900, aged 60 years, l

month and l2 days. She was married to WASHINGTON T. GARDNER, January

ll, l88l, and to this union was born a son, BERT S. GARDNER.

MRS. GARDNER had been a sufferer for years. She leaves a husband, son,

stepchildren and many friends bereft. Her body was laid to rest in Leon

Cemetery.
