WM. K. GREEN was born in Green County, Pa., April l7, l839. He was married December 5, l860, to MISS MARY A. WEST and to this union were born two daughters, LYDIA and FLORA, now MRS. I.W. MOORE and MRS. A.E. PRICE. He united with the M.E. Church in l864, and later placed his membership with the congregation at Fairview when that class was first organized.

In the year l865, he came to Iowa and has ever since resided in Decatur County. He died March 2l, l903, aged 64 years, ll months and 4 days. Interment took place in the Van Wert Cemetery, Sunday afternoon.
