Mrs. Rose Estes Dead Here at 97

Mrs. Rose Estes, 97, of 659 Thirty-fifth st., died of a heart attack early
Saturday at Wilden Hospital after a 3-week illness.

She was born at Greencastle, Ind., and lived at Mitchelville and Pleasanton
most of her life. She came to Des Moines 2 months ago. She was a member of
the Latter Day Saints Church at Pleasanton.

Survivors include three daughters, Mrs. Vee Dowling and Mrs. Olive Overton,
Des Moines, and Mrs. Loreta Mitchell, Ames; two sisters, Mrs. Maude Lovett
and Mrs. Nelle Beach, Lineville; 10 grandchildren and 23 great-grandchildren.

Services will be 1:30 p.m. Tuesday at the Latter Day Saints Church at
Pleasanton, with burial at Hamilton Cemetery there.
