DIED--On the lst day of December, l887, NANNIE MAY ENGLE, only daughter
of NATHANIAL M. and AMANDA ENGLE, of Morgan Township, aged seven years
last May.

Deceased was sick but twelve days with diphtheria, and had all the care
that loving parents and skilled physicians could give.  NANNIE, was a
promising child; the pet of the neighborhood and noted for her
truthfulness.  She had great interest in the Sabbath School and
especially in the Union Primer, given her by REV. DICKEY, from which she
learned a prayer that she recited twice each day of her own accord.

Funeral services were conducted at the home by ELDER Z.H. GURLEY, after
which the remains were conveyed to the Lineville Cemetery, under the
supervision of MR. REESE HAWKINS.  Peace to the departed - "for such is
the kingdom of Heaven." - and may the Lord temper the storms in the
hearts that are stricken.
