Flossie Marie (Pullen) Earley
OBITUARY
Flossie Marie (Pullen) Earley, daughter of Chester Clyde and Rosie Ettie (Gray) Pullen, was born December 14, 1931 in Decatur County, Iowa and died October 18, 1994 at the Decatur County Hospital in Leon, Iowa at the age of 62 years, 10 months, and 4 days. Flossie was the youngest of seven clildren.
On November 20, 1951 she married Harlan Max Earley. To this union five children were born: James Max, Donald Wayne, Diana Lynn, Bobby Dean, and Randall Lee.
Flossie grew up and went to school in Decatur County. She and Max settled in and around Leon.
Flossie enjoyed her family and grandchildren. Her favorite hobbies were sewing, gardening, making quilts, dancing, country music, and in recent years enjoyed camping with her husband.
Preceding Flossie in death were her parents; two children Diana and Bobby; two sisters Evelyn McKee and Elva Cooper; and four brothers: Vernon, Jasper, Darrell, and Shelby Pullen.
Survivors include her husband Max Earley of Leon; three sons: Jim Earley and wife Susan, Donnie Wayne Earley and wife Stephanie, and Randy Lee Earley, all of Leon; 3 grandchildren: Stacy Jo Earley, Travis Wayne Earley, and Brenna Marie Earley; 3 sisters-in-law: Veltia Pullen of Des Moines, Iowa, Ella Mae Pullen of West Lebanon, Indiana, and Beulah Vandel of Leon; 1 brother-in-law Bill Akes of Leon; many nieces and nephews; and other relatives and friends.
