MRS. MARY EHM was born in Lee County, Iowa and died at her home eight
miles northeast of Leon on Friday, March l7, of consumption and heart
trouble. She would have been 57 years of age in June. For more than
two months, she had been bedfast, during which time she was a patient
sufferer.

She was the daughter of MR. and MRS. PETER SCOTT, who died about l5 and
8 years ago respectively. She was married to GUSTAVE EHM in l873 and to
this union, two children were born, the elder dying in infancy.
The surviving daughter is MRS. JACOB HALE.

The funeral services were held in the Dunkard Church by Elder Kob, after
which burial occurred in the adjacent cemetery. The bereaved husband
and daughter have the sympathy of a large number of friends.
