DORA N. KELLEY was born in Nuckolls County, Neb. June 8, l880, and came

while but a child with her parents to Iowa, settling in Clarke County.

The last years of her life were spent in Decatur County. She was

married, July ll, l899, to LUCIUS EDWARDS, and to them was born one

child, a son, now about three months old.

Her death occurred at Van Wert, October 7, l900. She expressed herself

during her last illness as having a changed heart, that she had forgiven

all who had ever offended against her, and that if God called, she was

ready to go. Funeral services were held at the M.E. Church in Van Wert

and were attended by a large company of sympathizing friends. The early

close of this young life says to all "Be ye also ready."
